"I would like to bind her to me with a thread of gold. Then, as a proof of love, I would like to set her free forever."

Vivian Lamarque

A kiss is seemingly a simple gesture of love that unites everyone; yet, it conceals and holds within it the warp and weft of a relationship.
We are the threads that intertwine, and at times, they unravel or break, only to reunite once again; each one connected by a thread to their soulmate.

In this poster, we sought to depict the immortal love of Hayez's two lovers, portrayed during the intimate moment of their kiss.

These concepts are evident in the composition; for instance, the background is made up of the blend of seemingly intangible colors of the attire of the two young lovers: cerulean blue identifies the lady's dress, while red represents the young knight, and crimson symbolizes love, the true guiding thread.

The whole is overlaid with a "wavy" pattern to express the entanglement, the dynamic fabric that every relationship possesses, the overwhelming passion, misunderstandings, ups and downs, and joys that anyone who has truly loved has had to face.

And finally, the Brera logo, like a faithful witness, observes, nourishing itself on the ephemeral beauty that only a kiss can bestow, reminding us that:

"...The young lovers are not there for anyone. They are elsewhere, much farther than night, much higher than the sun, in the dazzling splendor of their first love."
